Anna Bell Phillips

Middletown...Anna Bell Phillips, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.She was born in Decatur, Il, October 4, 1928, the daughter of John William and Rachel Polly Gilispie Allen.She was a member of the Middletown Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Harold Henry Phillips in 1979.Survivors include 5 sons: Harold Phillips, Michael Phillips, Steve Phillips and Chris Phillips of Middletown and Raymond Phillips (Jackie) of Borden, IN, 2 daughters: Melissa Goodman (Neal) of Alexandria and Jean Rich of Daleville, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Robert Allen officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
