Anna Norris

Anna (Richardson) Norris, 90 of Anderson went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 13, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on May 9, 1934 in Pall Mall, TN to the late Roy O. and Ruby (Jones) Richardson.

Anna loved her grandkids and enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother. Her biggest joy in life were her children and her grandchildren. She was a homemaker; she taught her grandkids to cook and loved making big meals for her family. The family loved her comfort foods and she made an amazing apple coleslaw. When cleaning the house, she liked listening to southern gospel and singing along. She had worked for several years for Ball State University.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Eddie Norris, Todd (Julie) Norris and Daniel Norris; sister, Emma Mae Chandler; sister-in-law, Jerri Richardson; daughter-in-law, Diana Norris Marcum; grandchildren, Joshua (Kendra) Norris, Justus (Ana) Norris, Jeremiah Norris, Jena (Josh) Johnson, Ashton (Cameron) Vannatta, Taylor Norris, Novah (Brandon) Campbell, Shyanne Norris, Jayden Norris, Lilly Norris and 22 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fred Norris; son, Roger Norris; brothers, Roy Richardson, Jr., Henry Richardson, James Richardson, Samuel Richardson and Jere Richardson; sister, Ruth Richardson.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery.
