Anderson...Anna Mae Esary, 85, resident of Anderson, passed away at the residence of her daughter September 17, 2007 after an extended illness.She was born in Puxico, MO, May 20, 1922, the daughter of Douglas and Frona Sifford Barnfield.She had worked for many years as a clerk at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis.She moved to Anderson in 2006 and attended First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Vernon Hugo Esary, 1 son: Ronald Wayne, and 3 brothers.Survivors include: 3 children: Gloria (Wayne) Yerxa of Mt. Vernon, OH, Nancy (Gary) Klinger of Anderson, and James (Jolene) Esary of Tabor, Iowa, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers: Floyd Barnfield of Missouri and Benton Barnfield of Dexter, MO, 4 sisters: Marie St. Clair of Dexter, Ruth Lewis of Ohio, Helen (Lovelace) Kitchen of Dexter and Martha Weller of Illinois.Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 at Morgan and Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico, Mo with burial to follow.Friends may call on Saturday from Noon until the time of the services at the funeral home.Local arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
