Chesterfield...Anita Marilyn Poer, 83, resident of Chesterfield passed away Sunday at her residence.She was born in Mechanicsburg, Indiana, September 5, 1932, the daughter of Robert and Mary Lodge Haynes.She was a graduate of Middletown High School and worked in bookkeeping at Guide Lamp for many years as well as A and A Trucking.She and her husband owned and operated Fadley's Tavern in Middletown for many years.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Albert, and a son: Timothy Bronson Jones.Survivors include her daughter: Brenda Stanley (Mike) of Anderson and a brother: Allen Haynes (Brenda) of Chesterfield, grandchildren: Chad Jones of Chesterfield, Jeff Jones of Cadiz and Melissa Jones of Sulphur Springs, great grandchildren: Austin Jones of Chesterfield and Mason Jones of Sulphur Springs.A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard, Ron Branham and Chuck Vannatter officiating.Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call on Thursday from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Middletown American Legion.Online Guestbook at:
