Middletown...Anita P.(Kinnett) McCambridge, 65, resident of Middletown, passed away Tuesday at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, after a courageous battle with leukemia.She was born in New Castle, April 24, 1944, the daughter of Lee and Laura McLain Kinnett.She had worked at Central Indiana Gas, but had been a homemaker most of her life.She was a 1962 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School.She loved spending time with her grandchildren.She had worked for over 10 years at Mt. Lawn Speedway,she attended the Cadiz Friends Church, was a member of the Collectors Club, and was a Nascar fan especially Tony Stewart.She loved taking photographs, collecting Longenberger baskets, and taking trips to Dresden with her best friend; Judy Biehl.Survivors include her husband: Ronald of Middletown, 1 son: Scott (Cheryl) McCambridge of New Castle, 1 daughter: Jennifer (Tim Rogers) Kuhns of Anderson, 2 brothers: James (Patricia) Kinnett of New Castle and Phillip Kinnett of Middletown, 1 sister: Wanda Kissick of New Castle, 5 grandchildren: Ann, Aaron, and Ally McCambridge of New CAstle, and Benjamin and Madelyn Kuhns of Anderson, several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law: Gene Byrne of Greenwood.She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Mark McCambridge and 1 sister: Janet Sue Burne.Funeral services were held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Amos Taylor and Rev.
