Allie G. Scott

Allie G. Scott, 82, of Daleville, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. She was born September 18, 1938 in Burkesville, KY, a daughter of the late Clarence and Betty (Jesse) Stailey.

Allie worked at the 76 Truck Stop in Daleville for many years, and then for Aramark Vending for over 15 years. She was an avid quilter, making many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed family gatherings, and especially time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patricia Scott of Muncie, Joan Crow of Yorktown, Vicky Scott of Daleville, and David Scott of Muncie; nine grandchildren, Matthew Griffin, Daniel Crow, Ericka Gosser, Adam Scott, Sarah (James) Ramsey, David Kyle (Danielle) Scott, Melissa Scott, Conner Haisley, and Josh (Nikki) Blaz; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Sanders of Glasgow, KY; two brothers, Bennie (Gaye) Stailey of Burkesville, KY and Phillip Stailey of Burkesville, KY; a brother in law, Harold Farlee of Daleville; former daughter- in-law and friend, Jane Komdeur of Yorktown; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Haisley; a son, Jackie K. Scott; a sister, Margaret Farlee, and two sons-in-law, Kristopher Crow and Jeffrey Haisley.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville. You may share a condolence or memory of Allie at www.ballardandsons.com .
