On December 5th 2020 Alicia Foster loving mother of three and wife passed away unexpectedly from covid complications at the age of 43 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.. Alicia was born in November 15th 1977 and was a 1996 graduate of Shenandoah where she loved spending time in the plant factory learning her love of flowers and growing plants. While she attended Shenandoah she was a cadet teacher and basketball manager. Some of her fondest memories were growing the annual poinsettias and never not knowing a stranger while in school.
After graduation she attended Purdue, Ball State, Vincennes Universities and Ivy Tech Community College. It was while she attended Vincennes in 2000 that she met her husband Thomas Foster. She was married Jan 6, 2001. During her life she was a proud member of the Indiana State Police as a dispatcher. She resigned to focus on her most favorite thing in the whole wide world..... being a mommy and home maker. In 2016 she took a position with First Merchant Bank. Alicia was always willing to help a friend and loved to talk to everyone she met. Her favorite things to talk about in every conversation were her kids and husband.
Alicia was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Faith Ann Foster.
She is survived by her husband Thomas of Middletown, children Andrew and Brylee of Middletown, mother and father, David and Mary Etta Carter Keller of Middletown, Grandparents, Clyde and Mary Lou Carter of Middletown, sister Mary Lynn Dickey (Robert), Uncle Bob Carter and Aunt Debbie Powell, niece, Kiely Dickey (Levi Shetterly), brother-in-law, Phillip Foster, sister-in-law, Mendy Foster, Nieces; Samantha and Emma Foster and cousin, Marilee McDonald.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown. The service will be streamed live via Facebook/Ballard and Sons page.
CDC and State Covid-19 mandate of 50 people within the funeral home at one time will be in place with masking, hand sanitation and social distancing required.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3-7 at the funeral home. . Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
