Anderson....Alex Lee Harter, 36, resident of Anderson, passed away Saturday at IU health Ball Memorial hospital.
He was born in Muncie, August 30, 1981 the son of Charles Rick and Tamera Wilson Harter.
He was active in farming and was also employed at Tractor Supply Corporation.
He was a 2000 graduate of Shenandoah High School and active in the FFA.
He was a member of the American Legion, Teamsters 135 and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years Jennifer Ann (Hines) of Anderson, children: Jaxon and Lucy, parents: Rick and Tammy Harter of Middletown, brother: Adam Harter (Andrea) of Middletown and sister: Angela Harter of Sulphur Springs, nephews: Jordan Myers and Landon and Wyatt Harter.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at Tri County Golf Course, 8170 North CR 400 W, Middletown, IN.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
