Adaline Bowers Hodson

Shelbyville...Adaline Bowers Hodson, 93, former Middletown resident passed away Monday morning at Ashford Place convalescent Community in Shelbyville.She was born in Muncie, May 12, 1911 in Muncie, the daughter of Leonard and Edith Carson Bowers.She had been a homemaker all of her life.She attended Indiana Business College in Muncie and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern STar #110, Garden Club, Friendly Club, The United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Suburban Home Economics Club.Survivors are 2 daughters: Phyllis J. Lowery of Taylorsville, Indiana and Rosalie Fattic (Bill) of Shelbyville, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Elton Hodson, 2 brothers and 1 sister.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Jeff Landon officiating.Burial will follow in Ovid Cemetery in Ovid.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the Middletown United Methodist Church.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
