Aaron Wesley Holbrook

May 18, 1937 — December 19, 2020

Anderson...Aaron Wesley Holbrook, 83, resident of Anderson, passed away December 19, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.  He was born in Richmond, Virginia, May 18, 1937, the son of David Walter and Loretta Stamper Holbrook.

He had been preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy Maxine Staley Holbrook in 2016.  He was a graduate of Knightstown High School and retired from Delco Remy after 39 years of service.  He has lived in the Anderson area since 1974.

He was a member and past master of Markleville Masonic Lodge, a member of the Shriners of Madison County, Eastern Star, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, He was a member of the National Rife Association and the Piston Poppers Car Club.

He is survived by three children: Tammy Andrews (Billy) of Glensfork, KY, Martin Holbrook (Donna) of Anderson and Tina Miller (Danny) of Groveport, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren..

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.  Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Wednesday.

CDC and state Covid-19  mandates only 50 people will be allowed within the funeral home at any time and masks, social distancing and hand sanitation will  be required.

Memorials may be made to  the Markleville Masonic Lodge.
