Muncie....Aaron Michael Hoffman, infant son of Christopher Michael and Katherine Lynn Newby Hoffman of Muncie, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson, at birth on February 19, 2013.His brief life was celebrated by his parents, 2 sisters: Tori and Abby, maternal grandparents: John David and Cora Newby of Greensburg, paternal grandfather: Mike Hoffman of South Bend, his paternal great grandmother: Shirley Dawson of South Bend, and eight Aunts and Uncles and seven cousins.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Shirley Hoffman and seven great grandparents.Aaron and his family participated in the research study being conducted through Duke University to examine anencephaly and other tube defects.Memorials in honor of Aaron may be made to: Duke Center for Human Genetics, NTD Research Fund, Box 3445, Durham, NC 27710.
