Jeffrey Allen Babb

Jeffrey Allen Babb, 73 passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born on November 11, 1950, in Anderson, IN to the late Richard and Watina (Hamilton) Babb.

Jeff was a 1969 Daleville High School graduate. He enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, camping and was very decorated as a hall of fame softball player. Jeff was very involved in sports in the Daleville community and enjoyed coaching at Daleville High School. He loved spending time with his sister Beth and he enjoyed doing wood working. Jeff was a member at the First Church of the Nazarene as well as the Daleville Legion. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his high school classmates.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda; sister, Beth Richman; brother, Brian Moore; several nieces and nephews; his loving dog, Bentley and constant companion.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Steven Babb and Michael Moore; sister, Margaret Kinderman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Pastor Joe Dagostino will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Anderson First Church of the Nazarene in support of their Community Center, 2300 Jackson St. Anderson, IN 46016.
