James Rick Hodson

James Rick Hodson, 64, of Middletown passed away on Friday September 29, 2023, at St. Vincent in Anderson. He was born on April 6, 1959, in Anderson to the late James and June (Risen) Hodson.
Rick was a 1977 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He worked for many years as a Tool and Die maker at several shops in the area. Rick was a die-hard Chevy guy; he loved all things cars. He loved spending time working on cars, attending swap meets and collecting treasures “One man's junk is another man’s treasure” as they say. Rick enjoyed traveling, food, fishing and being out on the water. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy Hodson; son, Jason (fiancée Heather Wilson) Hodson and his dogs, Nelle and Izzy.
In addition to his parents Rick is preceded in death by a sister, Robin Poynter.
A celebration of life for Rick will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. You may share a memory or express a condolence of Rick at www.ballardandsons.com .
