Dale F. Robinson

Daleville...Dale F. Robinson, 83. resident of Daleville since 1956, died Wednesday evening at Community Hospital, after a brief illness. He was born in Logansport, Indiana, October 26, 1918, the son of Archibald and Ruth Clem Shue Robinson. He was a 1936 graduate of Anderson High School and was a Veteran of the US Army serving in WW 2. He had worked at John J. Garrett Company before retiring at NAPA Stores, where he had been employed in sales for over 47 years. He was an original Town Board member for Daleville member and served as President of the Board. He was a member of the Daleville Masonic Lodge #730 and attended the East Side Church of God in Anderson.Survivors are nine children: Judi (Jerry) Hartley of Anderson, Janice (Joe) Parker of Indianapolis, Sharon (Darrell) Kennedy of Anderson, Dixie Clark of Daleville, Todd (Kris) Robinson of Muncie, Vicki Mangas of Daleville, Kent Mangas of Long Beach CA, Kataina (James) Cornwell of Anderson, and Bruce (Debbie) Mangas of Daleville. Also 1 brother: Roy Robinson of Anderson and 1 sister: Nadine Swords of Sebring, FL, 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Also special friends: Barb and Jim Mumaw of Alexandria and his dog: Pierre.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred F. in February of this year and by 1/2 sister: Irene, 1 daughter: Peggy Scott, and a foster child; Wanda.Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville with Pastor Kerry Robinson of Eastside Church of God officiating.Dove release services will follow at Saunders Cemetery near Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastside Church of God or the American Lung Association.Online Guestbook and Family condolences are available at: www.ballardandsons.com
